Hum.... News important and cool!!! :-)
I haven’t had much time to follow-up with the latest information…
SO!!! My play started last week and it has been a great success… Still 13 dates to go and we are all really looking forward to it… I play a newly married woman travelling for its Honeymoon with my husband… He’s a real maniac and he’s very funny… Pre-booking reached 2300 tickets which is enormous as we are non-pros playing on stage…
It’s always a great pleasure and a real fun to prepare the play and to meet with the others… As Karyn would say… “I love it, I love it, I love it…” J
Nora and Romain’s sister family is doing fine… She’s growing and is absolutely beautiful…
I am looking forward to the next birth which should arrive in a month or so… Taka and Ines are expecting their 1st child… J It’s soo sweet... Sonia, my dear friend Sonia is getting the future mom's tummy... and I make her laugh when I get close to her belly and talk to the baby... I'm really excited for her and for everything...
Work is perfect… I like it a lot and my boss are just great… It’s a big rush these days because lots of things are moving around… I manage as I can, but both of my boss seem to be happy and satisfied with my work… We just all have too much! J Should be better in a while!!!
Charly is getting bigger and bigger… he’s really cute… purring and miawing when we get home, hiding and fighting for fun… You can’t go on the computer without having him laying on the keyboard, or playing with the mouse on the screen… LOL It’s a real fun to have a cat… I love my kitty cat!I have picture and should take the time to put them on the website…
Oh… I bought a website link… www.delafontaine.li I’m going to do my own website and create something neat to put my pictures on it… something sober but nice that gives a good look to the pictures… Hope I’ll get it well done… Wanna do something simple but good to use! J No need to rush to the site, for the moment it is empty... Haven't had time to do anything on it yet... but soon...
The reasons why I also bought the website and planned to organize all the site and information on it…. Is that Romain and I are engaged since 1 month or so… We/I thought it would be a good idea to have a hidden place on the website where you could find the information regarding the wedding… AND as my new name will be Delafontaine, I tried to find a web address with these information... That's it!!!
Now for the wedding news… For those who didn’t know…
We planned to get married this September at the civil wedding… and in June 2009, we will be getting married in one of the most beautiful churches of the region… Just have a look…
Romain and his brother and sister have been baptized there, Romain’s sister got married there, their parents as well.. and Romain is named so as the village is named Romainmôtier…
It is very romantic and nice and sweet…
I have to make pictures of the engagement rings… they are just splendid… We are willing to have a maximum of people we know who will be having benefit from our wedding… These rings have been made by our friend Walter… the wedding rings will be made by Ines, the pictures will be done by my photo teacher, and I will buy my dress in a shop where I know a relative is working… We found the church, the place for the aperitif, and the place to eat in the evening… The diner will be organized by a restaurant we love… Flowers will be taken in a great place in Ecublens I suppose…
So it’s all settled…Bestman and Maid are set up for the civil wedding and for the church wedding should be as well… Depends on some few things… As I like to plan things, Romain lets me do a lot... We decide together and then I can do everything we need... So it's real easy and nice to do as we have plenty of time...
I'm looking forward to getting the cards done and enjoy time with my friends trying dresses and haircutes, etc...
More news soon.... :-)

Well well well….
So many things happened since the beginning of the year… J
1st of all Nora was born on January 8th… She is sweet and nice and cute and lovely… So I’m a proud Aunty!!! J I like to take care of here and seems like we’re gonna be pals!!! LOL
Otherwise, my friend Nathalie is getting married in a few months and it’s fun to talk about it with her!
Work is doing fine and I’m really happy here! I can use my language knowledge, IT skills and learn a lot of things… It’s really cool to have some responsibilities and to know I might gain even more!
We got some news from our friends Nathalie and Simon who are travelling! It’s really fun to know they are enjoying their trip… I’d like to have the guts to do the same… but I won’t!!!
The play starts in 3 weeks… I am totally freaked out and shivering with fear… really… I hope it’ll be fine… it should… Nicolas (my husband in the play) has a lot of experience and will help me in case! J I’ll let you know whenever I get some feed-back about the play! Should be good.. really funny and alive… pfff… I’ll send you a picture when I have one!
Last December, Hadrien came for a day at home to enjoy some time with us…
And Elise came for a whole week-end! I was really fun to do things with them and to take care for a little more time than usual…
Charly, our cat is doing fine!!! He’s a big cat but really nice and funny… still biting our feet, liking our nose during the night and trying a way to taste new food… This morning his tilted my bread with honey on the ground and was licking all he could before I arrived… couldn’t have breakfast after that… no more bread… LOL what a cat!!!
Here a picture of the boat Romain bought last year… It’s a small boat but can go really fast when the wind is around… I’m trying to get used on going on it, but I’m still a little scared…
Otherwise, here I am on track with the green motorcycle… and Romain in yellow… It’s really nice to go on track cause there aren’t any cars and you can concentrate on a nice curve… Wanna go again and progress… You can see the difference with Romain…. I’m slow… ;-b (I’m sure the parents like to read that!!!LOL)

Sarah & Henbdrick's wedding
Well... Saturday, we started running all around to get ready for D-Day... The dress was there, ready... we had to go to the hairdresser to get our hair done.... then come back and enjoy some "rest" before leaving...
What a run!!!
I planned the 1st surprise and sang when Sarah came in... She cried like crazy and I had to concentrate a lot not to cry as well!!! then during the ceremony, I read a text for both of them... After the ceremony, we had the pictures... and it was real fun!!! Then aperitif!!! little wine and a lot of pictures... loads of portraits and it was really nice...
Then during supper... I made my talk, sang, animated, took pictures, printed them out to directly put in the album, etc... Was running about all the time... But the 2 seemed happy and everybody thanked me and buged me (and I'm a hug lover...) so it was really a blast!
I wish them all the possible happiness...

Sarah's party
Sarah and Hendrick are getting married end onf this month... in fact next week... and we did party "girls' side" last week-end...
Sarah was make-uped and clothed as a Geisha... as she loves Japan... and we went in town, she had to sell sweets and kanji's (japanese writing) and she had to take pictures with people in the street...
We went to eat in a chinese, japanese restaurant in Lausanne and it was really really good! We enjoyed it like crazy... was delicious... i took the menu with Soup, Sushi and Teppanyaki beef... yummy...
After that, we went in a karaoke for a little while... and ended dancing and selling sweets in a club of Lausanne... Good Rock&Roll music and loads of fun! She gathered quite a bit of money for such a short evening... and we really did have a good time!
As I am the bride's maid, I'm really happy she enjoyed it as I was organizing everything... Now the wedding is close... As i did a lot there too, preasure is coming... hope they'll like what I prepared... :-)
More news soon!!! :-)
Magny-Cours 2007
Beginning of Septemer, Romain, myself and some fiends went for a crazy thing in Magny-Cours... An association in France booked the speed track of Magny-Cours and we could go ride on it!
As I am a beginner, I called to ask if there was training which they said there was (but in fact wasn't...) So here we were on the road of magny-Cours Nevers France with a bus and 2 motorcycles inside pulling 2 others on a trailer!
We arrived there between 2 and 3 in the morning... got lost as usual... LOL and then had to take our stuff out of the buss and prepare the tent... on the ground of the parking... It is really hard but we don't have the enormous equipment some have... :-)
So Saturday, 7 in the morning, time to get things done... Motorcycles to take off the trailer and the bus, breakfast to have, adminitrative control, etc...
Romain was in 1 category and I was with te other in the beginner's category... In fact, I was supposed to be the only one with Mark because we were real beginners... but the other were with us!!! Strange but let's go... 9h20, 1st time on track... I feel like I want to vomit before getting on my bike... You have that kind of thing dancing in your head like: "What the heck am I doing here... I could be resting on a chair in the sun..." But as soon as you get on track, you have to concentrate... and then the curves come and you just enjoy the feeling of the speed (and I was slow... LOL) and nice curves withour being afraid of cars coming around!!! :-)
Crazy sensation... 20 minutes later, I was back next to our bus, swetting, but enjoying that 20 minutes... And there it goes for 2 days... 6 sessions a day... always for 20 minutes maximum.. EXCEPT if you fall... 3rd session, nice curve, guy are passing me inside and ourside... I feel like I'm not at the right place and prefer pulling strait away as it is a safe track... BUT... I forgot there was gravel.. so fell... ridicoulous... low speed... Didn't hurt me neither my bike... so cool!!!
Just had to get all that gravel out of the bike... So didn't do the 4th session and took pictures the whole time... Was really fun... and back on track again...
On Sunday, I did enjoy even more as a guy called David showed me how to race better on the track during the afternoon... So I learned how to go a little faster BUT better... that was cool!!!
Romain enjoyed going with his crazy Yamaha R1 and now... he doesn't know if he should keep it or not... as you can't enjoy it that much on the road... :-)
Pictures are to come soon, but I'm typing in the kitchen and I don't have the pictures with me... :-)

Summer time!
There it is !!! Vacation time again !
I haven’t written in a long time… sorry but had quite a lot of things to do… I explain…
I just changed job last week, so I am now a PA for an international company near Lausanne. It seems nice and a lot of things to do… I hope it will be interesting and nice to work with my 2 bosses…
Second of all, Romain and I have moved to our new apartment in Morges… Loads of things to do between boxes and administrative tasks, etc… But now almost all boxes are empty and we are fixing the last things… And we enjoy the place… I’ll make some pictures as we have a fabulous view…
Then after moving, we went to Sardaigne to meet our friend Gildas. He is Martial’s brother… He has a nice sailing boat and we sailed from Cagliari to Olbia in 8 days time… It’s always very nice to have nothing to do and just enjoy the nice weather and sun… J Thanks to him, we got a good load of rest… J And we had the opportunity to dive for the 1st time... what a thing... :-)
Our kitten is going to arrive tonight from the mother’s house… his name is Charly and he is adorable… I know mom will not like that because she doesn’t like cats, but we are cat-lovers… sooooo---- and otherwise he would have been killed…. How can you let someone kill one of those furry little babies… J SO Charly will arrive night in his news home and we bought toys and all he needed… J
Sarah and Hendrick are getting married end of September and I am Sarah’s Bridesmaid, I have a lot of things to do as I am preparing a few things for the evening for animations!!! It’s so great to have 2 good friends getting married… J I will also take many pictures etc!!!
Romains’ sister, Séverine, is pregnant again… so little number 3 will be arriving end of January! J I got soo excited when they announced that because I will be able to spoil another little one again! J Ain’t that fun?
I’ll put pictures in-line as soon as I can… I just need a little time as I have urgent things to prepare… But I suppose I’ll be able to do it this week-end… or next week¨!!!
Give some news… How are you all going??? How’s life?

Easter week-end!
Well well well!
What a week-end I had there! 4 days off and some sunny nice great weather! I didn’t have my play last week-end so I could enjoy sleeping during the morning and spend some time with Romain! J
On Friday, we went cycling! I think I didn’t go for such a long time since 10 years or more! Ok, it was all flat, but with 2 knee operations, 1 hour cycling is quite ok! J and I really did enjoy it! At night time, we enjoyed a nice little supper the both of us! J
Saturday morning was harder… Getting up quite early and there we went to La Chaux-de-Fonds to have diner with Gramma Simone! Before diner, we went to say hi to my other gramma! After an enormous diner, we went to say hi to our friends Inès and Takahiro. Inès is a jeweler and taka is a watch maker! And as Romain received his personalized dragon bracelet for his Birthday (and made by WALTER…), we went to show it to them… It was fun!
During the evening, we went to Romain’s parent’s house and then to a concert in the Amalgame… Prohom… He is a French singer and it was quite nice. 2 of Romain’s friends where there and a friend from the play was there as well!
Sunday morning…a big night of rest and sleep…. Aaaahhhh… soo good! J then… and that’s important… we went climbing out side!!! It was my first time and I got it quite good in fact!!! Good level and good climbing… about 15-20 meters high… with a 5B/C level (for those who understand!!!) I was really happy as I was freaked out be the idea of climbing outside… What a great time! When we arrived at home in the late afternoon, our neighbour Danielle, came to say hi and give us some gifts from Thailand (she was there on vacation…). She was all nice and tanned! And we received a lot of spices and nice stuff (candles, picture book, etc)…
On Monday, Romain finally went to Yverdon to do his flying AEROBATICS from his birthday… he was quite nervous but had a nice flight and enjoyed being upside down on the side, downlow, and twisting, etc…. but he was a little grayish, greenish when he finally landed!!! LOL didn’t got sick though!!!
I also took some time to go see my friend Anne-Laurence who gave birth on Saturday… Enea is then born! I couldn’t see her as she was getting checked because of a virus. Nothing bad but she was being protected… It was fun and nice to see her as It was more than 1 year that we were only talking by phone… pfff… what a long time!
We then had a nice diner in Yverdon and then headed home for a cozy little end of easter week-end…. Ahhhh… it was too short!!! ;-b
Still 3 week-ends to go with the play and ten I’ll be able to sleep and rest a little… J
